Instructions / Precautions:

Cold compress method: - Place the Winluck cold pack in the freezer for 1-2 hours. - Remove cold pack from the freezer and place a light towel or fabric barrier between the skin and cold pack. Apply to the area for treatment. Use the strap as necessary to hold the pack in place. - We recommend consulting your medical professional for the recommended time to keep the gel pack on the body. Without professional advice, do not exceed 20 minutes of cold therapy at a time. - Return cold pack to the freezer and cool for 30 minutes before reapplying to the injured area

WARNING:

Continuous cold in one area can cause injury. To avoid frostbite, cold therapy should not exceed 20 minutes at a time. Continually shift the position of the product when in use and never use longer than 20 minutes in one location. Check the skin under the pack frequently to avoid damage.

Do not use damaged pack. Discard pack if damaged, punctured, or torn.

CARE AND STORAGE:

Store the cold pack in the freezer between uses. To clean, wash in lukewarm water with mild soap and air dry. Not dishwasher safe. Discard if punctured or torn.

Care:

• Wipe all moisture from the Winluck cold pack before putting it in the freezer.
• Winluck cold packs are most effective when stored at temperatures below 12°F (-11°C).
• Keep in the freezer when not in use.

Instructions:

Hot compress method: HOT WATER: bring water to a boil, remove from heat, and immerse the gel pack for approximately 4-10 minutes. After 4 minutes, check every 1 minute to see if the correct temperature has been reached, then remove and dry it for use.

• Do not apply excessive weight by squeezing, sitting, or leaning on the compress – this may cause the cold pack to leak or burst.
• If contents contact the skin or eyes, remove the pack immediately. Thoroughly flush with water and call a doctor or Poison Control Center immediately. For external use only.
• If the product causes irritation, discomfort, or poor circulation occurs, discontinue use and notify your physician.
